First Day at the Brewery!

So, not much to say in detail right now, but I’m very excited this morning.

The brew on Friday of my Black Imp Quintuple Chocolate Stout went smoothly, with a visit from one of the Brew Free or Die club members during the mashout and sparge to have a few pints of Gryffon’s Talon Continental Wheat IPA while planning a future brew day.  I took a bunch of photos of the brew and will post about the brew day soon.

But the reason that I’m really excited right now is that in about 45 minutes, I start my first day of my 30-day internship as an Assistant Brewer at a local brewpub!  I’ll be posting about how it went at the end of the day.

So, that’s it for now – off to “work” for me!
